BEAUTIFUL DESTINATION - OIA

Posted on Wednesday 3 July 2019
Wearing: Tally Weijl Dress | Tally Weijl Shoes

Oia, a visiting card of Santorini and one of the most photographed places in the world. White cottages carved in the rocks, most of which are currently hotels and apartments, create a unique landscape. The town is full of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops, and the narrow streets are crowded with tourists from all over the world :) By visiting Oia you can quickly come to the conclusion that this is not a place to rest. Although luxury apartments with private pools look very tempting (and their prices are really high!), in my opinion, better to settle in the quieter parts of the island with access to the beach. Oia, Fira and nearby islands can be visited during your stay in Santorini. I chose this option, although most of the time I wanted to spend in Oia, two days were 100% enough. On the island, you can travel by bus or rent a car, a scooter, without any problem. We go to Oia on foot, because access via small, winding streets is impossible. A walk around the town is a really nice experience and the views make a huge impression :) Most people stay here to watch (and photograph!) the sunset from the old fortress. In fact, it is a beautiful moment, I was more impressed by Oia after dark. The whole island sparkled with tiny lights, creating an absolutely magical atmosphere. Santorini is mainly white and blue colors. At this point, I wanted to show you one of my favorite Tally Weijl dresses. Lace, tied at the waist, it seemed to be perfect for the holidays! The shoes you see on the photos are of course just a suggestion for this set :) I climbed up in my favorite sneakers. To visit Oia you need super comfortable footwear. I hope you will like the scenery of today's photos and my summer look :) New post coming soon. Have a lovely week!
